Congratulations, Kate. I haven't commented here, but as a public health student at Penn who is interested in policy and politics, I've always enjoyed reading your posts every day.

Best of luck with the new digs and hopefully one day we'll change the world.

Congratulations and good luck!

Zut! Loss of this blog can't be good for the health policy wonkosphere. Congratulations, however, and take some sedatives before you go pricing housing in DC. My cousins live in Arlington, and while their apartment is admittedly a little upscale (on-site gym, subsidized Metro passes, and other amenities), they were paying $2,400 a month for a 2-bed, 2-bath place that was not large by any stretch of the imagination. They recently moved in the same building to a lower-priced unit.

Kate:

It's been great reading you Kate. We'll miss you in the blogosphere. Hoping you'll come back to it some day.

Best,

Wow. I'm happy for you but sad about losing your voice. I count on your insights into health policy. I hope you'll find time to start writing again soon.

Congratulations on the new job. Good luck :)

I'm going to steal your post New Modernization since you're taking the blog down. Can you move your best/favorite stuff over to blogger? It's a shame to think of losing the whole site.

Gee, I never comment here and now I have three comments in a row. Too bad it's because I'm a dope. I read New Mod at Ezra's place, which isn't in danger of going anywhere. Whew!

Mazel Tov on the new gig, Kate! And, of course, we'll miss you here in the blogosphere.

Best of luck to you, and may you have a long, storied, and successful career!
