Still no answer to my question, Kate. Why is the VA Secretary telling us in 2003 that the "the agency was struggling to provide adequate health care"? [1]




That's because veterans aren't considered a top funding priority. And as the government won't provide them armored vehicles, or body armor, or their families adequate compensation if their loved ones die, they also aren't providing enough funding for the VA. Which is why they're cutting patients. It has everything to do with the federal budget, and nothing to do with the standard of care provided at the VA.
